As part of the Solano Complete Streets Plan process, the City of Albany hosted a pop up event on Saturday September 22, 2018 to demonstrate potential changes to the street to improve safety, visibility, and access on Solano Avenue. The event included a temporary installation at Pomona & Solano Ave. as well as display boards showing potential future improvements. Members of the public were encouraged to try the temporary crosswalk as well as visit the display boards on view at Flowerland.
